Blue frankenawesomness and glitta

Hi loves <3

Today we have a beautiful layering combo with 2 frankens...

First is just a sky blue, with a crelly (creme/jelly)  consistency.

Sun

Shade
In my anticipation of some glittery sparkly etsy polishes, I tried to combine a few of my own glitters to create a semi peacockish polish.

Below with a matte top coat.

Then I added a shiny top coat... (you can see the awesome holo sparkles)

Etsy Awesomeness!!!! The Hungry Asian Sneeze Breeze

Hi gals!
I got home today to find a wonderful package containing my buys from the etsy store : The Hungry Asian!!!!! I purchased two minis, Sea Monster and Sneeze Breeze.

Today I'm showing you:

Sneeze Breeze is a lovely clear based polish with mini black and iridescent blue matte glitters.

In the pictures below, I have it layered over a blue pastel franken polish. The amount of black vs iridescent blue glitter changes depending on the light...really awesome, right?

look how the iridescent blue glitter glows! pretty :P

I totally love this polish!! It has so many layering possibilities.....over white, grey, black, orange, pink, etc, etc.......
The only issue was that the glitter was super bumpy and needed 3 coats of top coat to be smooth. But that could be resolved by doing a thinner coat and careful brushstrokes. I'm sure this will look great matted as well...

Thoughts?

Layering with Cult Nails Seduction

Hi lovelies! Hope to cheer everyone up on this Monday with some awesome polish layering...

First off we have 2 coats of one of my nameless frankens, a light violet grey with almost invisible micro shimmer. I love this polish because it isn't just a straight creme. When you look closely (way more visible IRL) it kinda looks like there are a bunch of tiny white, black, and purple dots, kind of like the appearance of a static television....Get what I'm saying? Anyway, this is a nice low key shade.

Coincidentally, I happened to be wearing a matchy light purple shirt.
Anyway, here is where the magic happens :) I wanted to layer these two so I could keep the amazing light purple jelly-ness in Cult Nails Seduction. I think I succeeded!! Below is 1 coat of Seduction over my franken.

look at that beautiful shade shifting flaky goodness :D

      So beautiful.
Have you noticed all the color changing-ness thats happening inside the bottle? I think I can see purple, red, pink, dark blue, turquoise, yellow, and orange flakie colors!!!

Sponge Gradient!

Happy Saturday!!! (I love the weekend ;)
Here we have a sponge gradient mani done with OPI Gargantuan Green Grape and Wet n Wild Sunny Side Up. I tried my hand at following The Nailasaurus 's sponging tutorial (found here).  I was inspired by the beautiful color combo she did here. It was harder than I expected and ended up sponging SSU over GGG instead of doing exactly what the tutorial said.

Im sure this combo would look great matted too.

Cult Nails Polishes!!!! and a Tragic Nail Disaster

Hai hai!!
I just received some nail polishes that I ordered from Cult Nails and I am super excited ;)

they came in these cute burrito bundles :)

my new pretty pretties
Cult Nails Get It On, Wicked Fast, Seduction, Scandalous, Devious Nature

3 coats Devious Nature

Devious Nature is a gorgeous bright magenta/pink/berry creme. It is just super awesome. 2 coats work great. I will be wearing this a ton over the summer as a mani and also as a pedi. I love how cheerful and bright it is ;)
Devious Nature and Scandalous

Ok, so awesome right?! And then come the sad part....
***time machine to 4 days ago****
*All is good, my nails are nice and long, perfect for swatching and nail art
THEN...AHG a huge rip appears, really deep (I couldn't just trim all my nails) on my ring nail
I start to panic....I put on 3 million coats of different nail base coats hoping that it will last until the nail grows long enough to cut. That only works for a little bit. Then, I cut the sticky part of a bandaid and shape it to my nail, hoping that will work...It doesn't.
I am skipping a bunch, but finally The Rip gets longer and I break down and rip it off.
***present***
So sorry guys, but for the next few weeks my swatches will be on my right hand.

just in case you don't believe me, here are some shots I took of Scandalous on my left hand
I kept them in small size (please DONT enlarge these)

Also, I will totally reswatch this when my nails grow out ;)
*cringe*

**more cringing**

Flower Nail art
Anyway, I love all of my polishes from Cult Nails. In fact, I want to but ALL the polishes from there.(HEHE)

Happy Sunday!
